Opening a db

Hi,
Just putting the finishing touches to my db, and want to make it as user
friendly (and tamper proof) as possible. I have changed the settings in my
db start up menu etc, however thought of the following, but dont know how to
do it......:

On another database i have used, there is an icon on the computer desk top.
When this icon is clicked, only the main db navigation form is opened. (The
main Access window doesnt open behind the form).

Is there any way, i can set my db up so that i can have an icon on my desk
top which when clicked only opens a specified form and not the whole access
programme??

Thanks in advance for any help.

Go to tools startup and select the form you want to have the users see when
they click you icon

To create the icon
Right click the screen with no applications open
slect new shortcu and navigate to your database (select view all files)

Good luck

In addition to Wayne's suggestions, uncheck the "Display Database Window" and
perhaps also the "Display Full Menus" checkboxes on the Startup screen.
