Opening a database in shared environment

I have a database that will lock when it is opened and the database is set to
share. The message I am getting is "The database has been placed in a state
by user 'Admin' on machine xxxx that prevents it from being opened or
locked." Am I missing a setting in the database so multiple users can
access?
 
Hi,
perhaps somebody have opened it in exclusive more on machine xxxx? try to
check defaul open settings on this PC
