I put an shortcut icon on my desktop for Windows Explorer. When I click on
it, I would like it to open to the "C drive". In winxp I had the desktop
icon set up like this in properties "C:\windows\explorer.exe /e" and it
would open to the "C drive". Doesnt work that way (yet) in vista. Anyone
help me?
thanks

Use:

c:\windows\explorer.exe /e, c:\

I just opened "my Computer" and right clicked on my "C" drive and created a
shortcut I put on the desktop. When I double-click that icon it opens
Explorer at the c drive.
