open website in frontpage and says it doesnt exist

Frontpage does not allow you to drill up an address to find file locations.
Had to use another ftp program that has that capability now I lose the
functionality of frontpage features

Then your web host doesn't have the extensions configured correctly for your account. FP can only
publish to the folder that has been set up by the web host as the web root for your account.
