Fat fingered something on first post and it 'sent' before
I was done. Anyway:

When I do a File, Open Web and type in the location
http://site1.mysite.org I get an error message that reads

"The folder 'http://site1.mysite.org' isn't accessible.
The folder may be located in an unavailable
location, protected with a password, or the filename
contains a / or\"

Using:
IIS 5.0
Frontpage Server Extensions 2002
Frontpage 2000 client

I've tried every combination of permissions I can think of
on the folders and files including
Everyone - Full control with no luck.
What could be wrong?
Another post listed 6 or 7 Knowledgebase articles that
didn't help in my case.

Has your host setup the subdomain to be reached via the FP extensions? If
not, then try:

http://www.mysite.org/site1

Kevin,
These are the KB articles I mentioned in my post.
Went through them all with no luck.
Any other ideas?

Thomas,
The IIS Server is under my control. I have created the
website and enabled the FP extensions on the site.
Any other ideas?

Ok, then set up the site1 as a subweb under your rootweb then under DNS
point the subdomain to the subweb folder.
