address. http://www.mywebsite.com

I keep getting an error that says the location is invalid.

Any Ideas?

Thanx in advance for your help

This allows me to edit just that page but I want to open my web and get into
the permissions. When I open it this way the security option under the Tools
menu is grayed out.

Does the server have FrontPage extensions installed?? If not ,you can't open it in FrontPage using
http://

If it does have extensions, try : http://mywebsite.com without the www

If the security option is disabled, it means you host doesn't allow you to set unique permissions.

Since you're on a version of Apache/UNIX:
Server: Rapidsite/Apa/1.3.31 (Unix) FrontPage/5.0.2.2510 mod_ssl/2.8.17 OpenSSL/0.9.7c

Do you have a webmasters CPanel?? On an Apache/UNIX, permissions are edited via CPanel if
available.

Also try this: Close FrontPage, find and delete all files named *.web and *.tmp

Reopen FrontPage and try again.

Also I noticed the FP98 logo on the home page. If you are using FP98, you can no longer publish
to, or access an Apache/UNIX server with it, because the latest versions of extensions ( which you
have ) are no longer compatible with FP98.

The extensions for Apache/UNIX are written by Ready to Run Software. www.rtr.com
