Open source software

G

Guertas

Hello,

Thank you for helping out on our questions. We are benchmarking a few data
integration solutions now, finding most of these tools interesting.

We have been looking at open source solutions and are wondering which of the
proprietary or open source solutions could be best for us to use. Knowing
that our company is growing with an even more important client base.

Thank you.

This forum is about MS Access Databases. You would be much better served to
post this type of question in a more general forum.

Also, without some actual details on what you are trying to develop,
infrastructure, user,... no one will be able to answer your question properly
as they will be simply guessing. Give significantly more details in your
posts in the future.

Guertas,
This newsgroup deals with Microsoft Access, a relational database
application.
You'll have better luck trying a newsgroup that would deal with the
specific
applications your concerned with.
Regardless og the NG you choose, "open source" is probably too broad a
term
for any meaningful response.

Your question may be better answered in a newsgroup appropriate to your
problem. I rather doubt that you will find one on this server. This
newsgroup is dedicated to the Microsoft Access database product. The
Microsoft website may have misdirected you.

That would surely depend on what your problem is.

There are advantages to use open source software.
Most companies have a forum to help you on issues and support and
maintenance can be given by software companies.

Look at programs like Talend Open Studio for your data integration needs. It
is an open source program.
