Open Site - My Network Places

When I click "Open Site" under the file drop down menu of FrontPage, the
resulting window hangs for approximately 7 minutes while waiting for the "My
Network Places" to load. The only thing that can be done during that period
is terminate the program by clicking the X in the upper right corner of the
window.

Any ideas why or any solutions to the problem?

In Windows Explorer try opening your Network Places folder to see what is hanging it
- delete the Network place that is the problem

Since I originally posted the question I did find the problem. (which only
effected FrontPage) Basicly you were on the right track. I had to clean up
Network Places a bit. I had two similar entries that pointed to the same
URL, and after I deleted one of each duplicate my wait time reduced from
about 7 minutes to around 20-30 seconds. Not great but a heck of a lot
better!
