Open new window in IE6 results in window with no viewing area

When I click on a link and open a new window, the
resultant new window is just a little title bar and the
standard buttons (Minimize, restore, close). Then, I have
to maximize the window, and the window opens up fine.
Anybody knows how I can fix it?

right-click the button then click Move and use your keyboard arrows to
get the tiny window out into the middle of your screen so you have some
elbow room. Then click Size and use your keyboard arrows to get it to a
usable size. Finally, use your arrow keys to stretch it to suit yourself.
After making sure that no other IE windows are open, close this one last so
that IE will remember this size for next time.
