Using the <a href and target="_blank" tags, is there a way to set the
attributes of the new window (e.g. top left of screen, half sized) or is this
relegated to scripts?

You can go through the effort of writing all that script, etc. if you want.
If I were you, I would just download Spawn from my Web site.
