Open mail in active window?

Up until yesterday, when I double clicked on a mail item in Outlook 2003 it
would open the e-mail in a new active window. Now when I double click to open
an e-mail it opens in a window behind everything that is open. Does anyone
know how to correct this so when reading an e-mail it opens in a new active
window? Thanks!

Unfortunately I don't have the answer to your question, but I just posted an
identical query on the New Users discussion. My problem also started
without warning (problem started on 2/10). Today I uninstalled and
reinstalled Outlook; the problem appeared to be resolved for about 3 hours;
then my mail reverted to opening in a window behind everything else. ...
 
Try uninstalling Plaxo. Worked for me.
