Open Form with Combo Box Value

Hi There

Can anyone tell me why the following isn't working please?

Dim stDocName As String
Dim stLinkCriteria As String
Dim stcombo As Integer

stcombo = cboselectevent.Value

DoCmd.OpenForm "Attendee", WhereCondition:="[Event] = stcombo"





It just asks me to enter a value for stcombo
