Open an ftp:// website with FrontPage2000 created in another progr

I am unable to open an ftp:// website for editing created by a professional
web designer using FrontPage2000. I have the URL and the password. I am told
it is a FrontPage problem.
 
Unless the site has FPextensions and you use an http:// address, you can't
open it in FrontPage for editing.
Use an FTP program to download the site to your hard disc, then edit in
FrontPage and Publish back.
Do NOT use import to download the site - this will miss any shared borders,
include pages, databases, and files not directly linked to the home page.

Note that after downloading with FTP you may have to rebuild navigation,
shared borders and themes.
