Open a specific Excel spreadsheet within an Access DB Form

There is an Evaluation Form within the Access database which uses
calculations from an Excel spreadsheet. I would like to open the spreadsheet
from within the Access form, copy and paste the totals into the Access Form,
then close the Excel spreadsheet without saving the Excel data (just keep the
formulas and field headings for use another time)

Oops, I frogot to say that at present the user has to separately open the
calculation spreadsheet, enter the data from the Questionnaires. The
calculated percentage totals are then copied into an Evaluation Form on the
Access database. At present these two documents operate quite separately.
And the Excel spreadsheet emties when closed, ready to be used another time
as it is only the totals that are needed. I would like to add a button on
the Access Form to open up the spreadsheet, keep both open so that the user
can quickly copy and paste across the totals from the spreadsheet to the
database.

The button option to "run Excel" isn't suitable as that just brings up a new
blank spreadsheet and I want this specific spreadsheet to open.

Hope that explains better what I need help on.

Thank you.
