Open a reassign task that i originally assign?

Why can't i open a task that i originally assign to a person and was reassign
to me. It comes in my mail but i can't open it. I can't even delete it. So i
have to drag it to my spam folder. Is there a way i can open a reassign task
so i can finish it and complete it?

If the person it was assigned to declined it, it would be yours again.
Microsoft don't expect the person to accept it, then assign it back to you.
