Just a newcomer to web design - in fact, "design" is too high powered a word
for what I have created to date.

However, I enjoyed the debate. I guess I have acquired just enough knowledge
to appreciate the points made. I am an "old-timer" myself, retired after 40+
years in the Australian Public Service, most of it spent in IT, so learning
new stuff keeps my mind active.

I was going to ask about the interaction between addins and FP, because I
have actually used JIMCO's Spawn without the dialog boxes - I used it once
and then duplicated the code. If this were to be overwritten, it would not
be useful, so thanks Jim for taking an approach which avoids this.

BTW, Mary Jo I found the marquee quite distracting, and the black background
with red text (or shades of violet and purple) was bit difficult to read

Jim,
Thanks for more feedback - though FP themes are limiting, it gave me a quick
start. Back to the drawing board.

I wouldn't say that you're back to the drawing board! The site's not bad.
If you invest a little bit in a nice FrontPage template, you could make the
site quite nice.

Time to go shopping! There are many template creators out there - any suggestions?

I prefer Paul Colligan's templates over the others I've seen. You can find
a link to his on my Web site on the Cool Tools link.

Thanks , will check it out.

Can you tell me where I can find this setting (to block all popups, as well
as New Windows)?

Open IE, then Tools | Pop-up Blocker | Pop-up Blocker Settings...| Filter Level (bottom of dialog),
set to High.

Suggest the you check or leave checked, the box "Show Information Bar..."

Thanks.

BTW: As far as I can see, in Firefox there is just the one setting: Block
Poupup Windows, under Options, Web features.
