Only SID is displayed under Members

Dear,

if i am looking in an active directory global group i see under members
only the SID. This user is coming from the trusted NT4 Domain.

How can i find out which NT4 User belongs to the SID? Does anyone has
an script or solution?

Best regards,
Markos

That's usually caused by communication problems between your domain and the
trusted domain. Does the trust verify?

Most of the time when you see this situation the user in the group was
deleted. The sid has no cross reference to display a name so it just
displays the sid. As long as you are sure there are no problems with your
trust between the two you should be able to delete the member of this global
group.

I have seen the problem when there is a communication problem, as ACE
stated in the previous post.

You should be able to check the Event Logs to see if you are having some
network communication problems.

Start > Run and type eventvwr and then click Ok
