Only seeing top half of screen

Hello All - I am new here, pretty cool board. My father just got a laptop, and with certain websites he is only seeing the top half of the page on his monitor. He says that the bottom half is blank. Any ideas on how to fix this?

It sounds like the page is not loading completely. Have him try refreshing
the page (click Refresh button in toolbar). Is he on dialup? If yes, I had
that problem on occasion too when using the same. Checking with the ISP for
a better access number helped.
