Go to control panel and click on the Network connections icon. When the
network connection window opens right click on your internet connection icon
and select Properties. Right at the bottom on the left hand side you will
see a box with the option 'Show icon in notification area when connected'
Click in the box so that a 'tick' appears, then click OK to exit. The next
time you log on the two little 'monitors' will appear.
