Online help not working

Has anyone else had this problem where Windows online help is not working at
all, ie F1 does nothing. Also, F1 in Office applications brings up the Help
Assistant but once you enter a help topic or question, the help window is
blank.

I am using Windows XP SP2 and have only noticed this problem since I
installed Internet Explorer 7.

Any suggestions?

Show the hidden files and folders Rightclick C:\Windows\Inf\srchasst.inf
Click install. The required file is in ../I386 folder on the XP CD

No, it didn't work and now I get a message that says Windows can't find
HelpCtr.exe. HelpCtr.exe is on my computer but when I double click it to run
it, nothing happens, ie the same as if I hit F1 from the desktop.
