Can someone give me the URL's of good online guides
for repairing XP PRO ?
Ones that work because they remember to tell you what MS
forget to mention would be helpful

Explore the xp pages for tips,technet,or use the help/support in xp start
menu.
As for 3rd party,youll find tips ok,but microsoft covers them also,with the
right
way of doing it.

(sarcasm mode on) OOooh another person who expects MS to be able to predict
every other companies hardware and software settings and proactively know the
technology that's coming out from the tens of thousands of companies who
don't take into consideration the commonest operating systems in the entire
world, in order to write the 'perfect' operating system that will produce

What's the actual problem? Seeing as this community is full of people who
