online checkers

Hello,

When my XP was first installed, the online games (
checkers, backgammon etc )were in the start menu.

I was having problems with Internet Explorer, so I
uninstalled and reinstalled ( through control panel ).

I think when I did this some other stuff happened,
because now I have no online games in the games menu.

How do I get these games back? Is there some way to do it
without reinstalling the OS? Is there somewhere I can
find them online for instance?

Unless Microsoft changed the CD since I got mine, checkers was not an MS
supplied game. Sounds like you may be looking for OEM software.
