One BIG reason for the decline in the news groups.

You never put Windows 7 on the newsgroups. You put 64 bit which coverts all three O/S's
I you would have put all the Windows 7 N/G's I think you would have seen a gain instead of
a decline.

You WHO? This is Usenet, not some free venue for support from
Microsoft. You are talking to other users, NOT to Microsoft.

What is Usenet:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usenet
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newsgroups
http://www.masonicinfo.com/newsgroups.htm
http://www.mcfedries.com/Ramblings/usenet-primer.asp

And just what might your post have to do with VirtualPC, the topic of
this newsgroup?

You want the Windows 7 newsgroup sliced up into bit-versioned newsgroups
despite it never happened for the older XP and Vista newsgroups. Uh huh.

There is a general 64-bit Windows newsgroup at:
microsoft.public.windows.64bit.general
(Never visited there. Can't tell you if it will be helpful to you.)

If you want a Windows 7 newsgroup (versus having to use Microsoft's
web-based forums), go visit alt.windows7.general.

See replies to your SAME post that you separately MULTI-posted in other
newsgroups. Now you'll have to remember to which other newsgroups you
multi-posted and go check each of them for replies instead of
maintaining the discussion within a single cross-posted thread.

Also, learn to cross-post:

That should've said "with Vista". I just copied my same reply to your
SAME post that you MULTI-posted elsewhere to UNRELATED newsgroups.
