Hi... Im using a ASUS P5KPL-AM Motherboard with Windows XP SP3... How do i enable onboard sound??
I have searched google, it seems i have to open up the BIOS setup during boot....

You will get onscreen instructions upon boot up on how to enter the BIOS screen

Usually DELETE

Instructions will also be in the manual you have. If not goto manufacturers website and look at PDF

I have run the BIOS setup, and then Advance tab, then South Bridge somethin, then audio driver... there is two actually, HD Audio ( currently using ) and AC97.... I have tried uninstalling my current driver, and changed the bios setup to AC97, and then installed this driver ( Realtek AC97 Audio Codecs from the Realtek website ).... But the windows Found New Hardware thing still appears... Maybe I've installed the wrong driver?? Help please??
