For receiving, winamp, and you find links to shoutcast radio stations
through the winamp.com site.
For transmitting.. well, I saw a link on the shoutcast site an hour
ago about somebody wanting some software and the shoutcast people said
he could have a copy.. and there is a link for those who are
interested, it could be the transmitter software they were talking
about.
The shoutcast people are a non-commercial alternative to the
commercial radio stations which are also available on the web.
They say something like that on their web site.
I listen to several of their stations. You have to try a few to find
some which work without breaks in the connection.
