On screen volume display during presentation

Excuse my being a newbie, but I usually toggle to have the presentation
displayed on my laptop and on the screen. The volume display never showed up
using my old laptop, only with the new one. There must be a switch somewhere
to disable this. I do not know how to "move the volume control to the other
screen." Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry for the delay,

On my system, when you click anywhere except on the small volume control it
auto hides. If there is a red X in the upper right corner, that will also
close it.

However, I am not familiar with the presentor mouse you are mentioning. It
may have software to keep the window open, since it has volume capabilities.
You will want to explore theTargus software for options.

You may also want to check your system control panel to see if a new option
was installed there.
