Hold down shift and press the key that has both "2" and "@" on it.

Switch your keyboard layout to UK. Do this by going to Control panel and
double click Keyboard and change the layout to UK English

if you are getting the quotation marks the do as above or press the
quotation key above the 2 for the @ symbol
