On Current event doesn't work until navigation buttons updates

I have a sheetview type subform with an on-current event
that sets the bookmark of another subform to match (...
keeps the two subforms on the same record).

This works fine in single-record view, but when I switch
the subform to sheetview, there is a few second delay
before the navigation buttons display the total number of
records. If I change the current record before the
navigation buttons have updated with the total number of
records, the bookmark doesn't do any good.

The on current event fires but the bookmark doesn't make
the second subform change it's current record.

Any ideas?

XTn,

I would suggest putting a hidden unbound textbox on the main form, to
reference the value of the primary key field from the first subform,
and then refer to this textbox in the second subform's
LinkMasterFields property.
