OLE error message

I'm not sure if this a problem with the form or not, but it only occurs in
one particular form when I attempt to create a new record starting in any
field in that record. And even then, it occurs sporadically. Once I click
the OK button, the table takes the new record as though nothing has
happened. It's more a nuisance than anything else.

Upon first entering data in the new record, I get the following error
message:

"A problem occurred while Microsoft Access was communicating with the OLE
server or ActiveX Control. Close the OLE server and restart it outside of
Microsoft Access. Then try the original operation again in Microsoft
Access."

As I mentioned, this happens arbitrarily, and only in one particular form of
a very large and complex database. The error message does not, by the way,
occur if I create the new record directly in the table.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

What ActiveX/OLE based controls do you have on the form? Have you tried
removing them? Might be worth rebuilding the form.
