Old windows folder

Hi,

I recently reinstalled Windows XP on a different folder because I wanted to
keep the other old one (I had files to backup). After I reinstalled the OS
and gave it a name "Windows1" so that it won't overwrite the other one. My
question is : can I delete the old forlder after I reinstalled the OS?

Thanks a lot

I think you can but why not rename it first to Windows_old and see what
happens for about a week or so. If no problems then just delete it.

Are all your applications running as they should? And can you get to
your documents without any problems of encryption etc?

Hi,

Thanks for you answer. That's a good idea. I'm gonna do as you say. I don't
think there will be a problem because windows doesn't go to that old forlder
anyway.
The applications that run normally are those I reinstalled after the second
installation. I have to delete those in the previews installation because
they're not in the new system folder or the registry.

Take care
