I have just installed Office XP but it does not have publisher. I have an
old version of publisher 2000. Will that load ok or will it screw up the
rest of Office XP?
Also, my favourite game is an old one called 'Flying Corps' but I can't get
the dammed thing to load. Is there a patch or something I can download?

Publisher 2000 will install and run just fine with OFFICE
XP(2002). Your only issue might be if your Publisher 2000
is an OEM or part of OFFICE Small Business. If so, do a
custom install and only install Publisher.

I've installed versions of MS Publishers on my clients' Windows XP systems
that go as far back as Publisher 98. You shouldn't have any problems. For
future reference, Windows XP is an operating system. MS Publisher is
software that runs using that operating system. Although MS Publisher might
have been included with bundled software on a system, it has not, and has
never been a part of any Windows operating system.
