Old macros are not activated

I have macros that I wrote long ago. I now have windows 2000 and office xp.
The macros do not operate if I activate the short key, but if I push RUN it
is activated.
The security for the macro is low.
What to do to activate the macro with the short key?
Maybe I can re-assign them or copy to another macro.

Low macro security is tempting providence - use Medium.
As you have given no information about your macros or where they are stored,
it is difficult to advise, but re-assigning the shortcuts may work.
