Old Computer Accounts

N

news.microsoft.com

I have been looking though TechNet but can't find an answer to my very basic
question...

Is there some way to determine old/unused/aged computer accounts in the AD?

I realize the problem could have been averted if the accounts were removed
when the machines were trashed, but I am stuck with a real mess in my AD.
It would be safe for me to remove any machine not authenticated within the
last 1/2 year but I can't find such a tool!

Thanks, and sorry if this is a repeated question.. any link to a TechNet
article would be appreciated.

.
Cam,

Take a look at both Joe's and Matjaz's web site. I
believe that they both have utilities to find inactive
computer accounts.

The links are http://www.joeware.net and
http://www.ladava.com.
