Old calendar events disappear after about 8-9 months

Is it normal for Outlook calendar events to disappear after about 8-9 months
except for recurring meetings? We're running Exchange 2007 SP1. Is there a
setting that can be set so it will not erase any old events?

Thanks.

Outlook does not delete things from the calendar automatically unless you have
configured it to do so. Right-click the Calendar folder and choose
Properties. Select the AutoArchive tab and look to see if autoarchiving is
enabled. If so, disable it.

If AutoArchive is not the issue, do you sync with a hand-held device? That,
too, is often the reason. The mobile device does the deletion and the sync
software makes sure Outlook reflects the that.

Autoarchive can delete them, handheld devices can delete them during syncor
theExchangeadmin can enable Mailbox Manager on the server and delete old
items.

the same isse, where after 8 - 9 months ALL calander entreis except
reacurring events are disappearing. We have not deployed any mailbox
or folder management policies. Autoarchive is not set up on the
clients, one of the persons invloved does use a mobile device which
syncs over AcriveSync, but the othe does not.

Try tools > options > other tab > Auto Archive

Set schedule and clean out time.

Also can do manually if Auto is not set up.
file menu > Archive > set pst file to archive to and which calendar to archive
