Old Access 97 application

A client wants to extract data from an Access 97 database application where
the password has been lost?
Is there a way this can be done?
Currently using Access 2003.
Advice and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Chances are the database wasn't secured very well. Try importing into
a new MDB. It's worth a few seconds to try anyhow.

Was this a database password, or was user-level security applied, so that
you needed to use both a user name and password to get at the application?

If the latter, try Tony's suggestion.
