OL2K07: Where are attachments cached when they are opened?

In OL2K3 attachments to email were opened in the IE cache (I believe).

In OL2K7 are they opened somewhere else? If so, where? When I open an
attachment to email and Save As... it opens My Documents by default. Is that
it?

Just need to understand so that I know which cache to clear out periodically.

Thanks,
Joe

Both Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 use a "Secure Temporary Folder" located
(and hidden from view) in Temporary Internet Files. This is the attachments
cache that may neeed to be cleaned occasionally. I have verified this
folder exists on my Vista Ultimate/Office 2007 machine.

Attachments remain in the Outlook Secure Temporary File folder when you exit
