OL2003 + Office2000

Is it possible that installing ONLY an upgrade to Outlook 2003 could affect
other already installed Office 2000 apps (on Win2k and XP PCs)?
Specifically: (A) could it change VB-related DLLs that would affect elements
(like buttons) on forms in MS Access 2000 DBs, (B) could it change the
shortcuts for the other Office apps from "2000" to "2003".

A) Highly probable since the install probably updated some standard control
DLLs or such
B) Possibly but I've never tried it to be sure
