OL2002 pst & Rules migration to OL2003 Help

OL2003 on a W2K desktop migrating to OL2003 on a XPpro Laptop

I have read that I can't just open or import the OL02 pst to OL03, but
rather have to use an new OL03 account. Can I just drag the folders from the
OL02 pst and copy them to the new OL03 account? Or do I have to (re)create
folders and sub-folders under the OL03 account and only drag the existing
emails into them? Do the Contacts and Calander drag the same way? Does the
answer apply to OL02 Archive.PST migrating toOL03 Archive.PST? Also, How
would I import the rules? Account settings?

Thanks for responding to questions that have probably been asked a million
times.

You dont Import, Open the old pst, within OL and drag/copy data from old to
new (folders or mail, but not default folders eg Inbox)

Thanks; Thant article was right - the rules imported but were not activated
because the folders were not recognized for the rules that "moved" emails. At
least I had the rules and only had to point to the destination folders.

Depends. In Outlook 2003 rules are stored and transferred with the PST and
simply need to be reset. In earlier versions, but again with Outlook 2007,
rules do not transfer with the PST and must be exported to and imported from
an RWZ file.
