OL2002 delets message upon reply or forward

When I reply or forward a message, the message is deleted.
It does not show up in the deleted folder.
I've tried looking @ all the settings & can't find one that would cause this
to happen.

Are you filtering your view so that you only see unread messages?

View > Current View

Make sure Messages is what's checked.

Probably not. I suspect you're using the "Unread Messages" view instead of
the "Messages" view. Replying to a message marks it read and if you're using
a view that hides read messages, you won't see it. It's still in the Inbox,
however.

Well, I think we resolved it by setting the View to "Message w/ Auto Preview.

I think you should try resetting the Messages view.
