OL 2007 Public Contact Folder Activities View Problem

We use two public folders, on an Exchange 2003 server. One is a contact
folder with our client list. The other is a task folder with tasks
associated with the contacts. We link the tasks to the contacts. We have
used OL 2003 for quite some time, and it allows you to open a contact, view
the activities tab which shows all of the tasks linked to that contact. I
have upgraded to OL 2007 on one computer, and OL 2007 does not seem to work
right. When I view the activities tab for a contact in OL 2007, it shows ALL
TASKS, not just the tasks linked to that contact. Has anyone had any
experience with this problem?
 
If you search this newsgroup and m.p.o.contacts, you'll see lots of people with the same problem. The exact cause is unknown so far, as is any workaround.
