OL 2003: Moved 'Sent Items' to New Folder / Now Show Wrong 'Name'

Moved in a single batch dozens of emails from Sent Items to an interim folder
(for later manual moving of each to respective mail folders w/in Personal
Folders alphabetized by contact name).

When I opened up the new folder into which I had moved the large batch, each
email now has MY name (sender's name) at top, instead of the name of to whom
the email had been sent (like had originally appeared when earlier in Sent
Items before the batch move). No resolution when I changed the 'Arrange By'
opiton from date to 'From' or to 'To'---because in essence ALL the emails are
now showing MY name at top (instead of respective recipients' names). When I
then checked BY GORUP in Arrange By, they ARE correctly categorized under the
respective recipient's name---but, STILL, each individual one shows MY name
exclusively at top.

I am not planning to move all these into contact-name mail folders, and will
instead was planning to keep a batch in such 'old sent' folder. But if I do
that, I won't be able to tell when looking within the folder TO WHOM each
email was sent at a glance--since they all have MY name.

Is there anything I can do about this?

Thanks!

Remove the "From" column and add the "To" column to your view via;
View-> Arrange By-> Custom...-> Fields...

Thank you SO much Roady. Just did it, and that 'old' view is back.

Question though, if I may:

[1] For those in the 'batch' that I indeed WILL move into contact-specific
mail folders, I assume that I will have to do the exact opposite of what I
had just done re: your advice...re: differentiating on any initial glance (in
any single contact-specific mail-folder that contains BOTH sent and received
emails) 'which is which'?

[2] Do I in-turn understand correctly that on any time when emails are moved
from the 'Sent Items' original folder to ANY other mail folder within
'Personal Folders' that, by default, the name that will appear at the top
automatically and by default changes to the SENDER's name after the move, vs
retaining the recipient'name as had originally been the case?

Thanks so very much!

1) You can add both the "To" and "From" column in a single view.
2) Nothing is being changed; all data is still the same as before the move.
Views enable you to decide which data is visible to you and how it is being
presented. A message header will always (in any folder) display the From at
the top since that is the person who has written the email.

Thanks for the info, explanation, and tip. You've been VERY helpful to me as
I finally, finally, finally get around to 'organizing' all my emails.

Really do appreciate the aid!
