Hello All,

This is extreamly annoying.

I have 2 "Local Folders" in my Outlook Folder List and they are for the same
data file. Any idea how I can get rid of one of them? By right clicking on
either one, Close "Local Folder" is disabled on the ?shortcut? menus.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but this is what happend
recently: this is a fairly new laptop and I installed OL 2003 myself. Then
I copied my data file over from my old laptop w/ OL 2002. I set it up and
also set up profiles (we are still on dial-up so we have 2 different
POP3/SMTP server combinations to connect to depending on how we are
connecting to the internet (connected through some other ISP's high speed
connection when traveling)). I set up the same email account in both
profiles and adjusted it so that account is saving emails/data to the same
data file from both profiles.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide,

Conan Kelly

You corrupted your Profile in the method used to migrate your data.
With OL closed;
Control Panel>Mail Applet create a new profile, add the data File & accounts
& test

PS Unless you create a new Unicode data file, set as default, and copy data
to this (DONT Import) you will be still using the old format file which has
a size limitation
