offline web pages

When I run Disk Cleanup the Offline Web Pages does not clear even though the
box is checked. What is preventing it fom clearing completely? I'm running XP
 
I suspect, that if the same items in your "Favourites" folder are checkmarked : "Make
this page available offline" - then a new file will be generated in the "Offline
Files" folder.

If you really want to delete the contents of the "Offline Files" folder - uncheck the
items in your "Favourites" folder and, one by one, they will be deleted.
