Offline vs. Cached Exchange Mode

Other than having greater control over what is downloaded to your local copy
of your Exchange mailbox, what are the advantages of working offline rather
than using cached exchange mode?

cached mode regularly gets updates from the server - offline needs a
send/receive to update.

Well...I guess if you don't want your messages to send right away.

I use "Work Offline" mode when I've got my Tablet PC away from the office
and not on the VPN (like when I'm in my car and don't want to bother with
the wireless) and I don't want Outlook to waste time trying to connect to
the server.

If I'm actually going to be sending/receiving though I always work connected
in cached mode.
