Offline Folder Synchronization

I moved our home folders to a new server. The my docs on each PC now point
to z: I updated the home folder path on each user account to reflect the new
server name. When someone logs in/out it synchronizes to the new location,
but it also tries to synchronize to the old server that is offline. The my
docs used to point to a UNC path to the old server. Simply going in to the
setup button and unchecking the box next to the old UNC path does nothing.
Is there any way to get the old server path out of the synchronization
settings?

Try to reset the Offline cache.
From Explorer window Tools-->Folder Options-->Offline files, hold down the
Ctrl and Shift keys while clicking on the Delete files... button and say
Yes.

In addition to the other advice, do you really need offline files for this
at all, if these are LAN desktops? I don't bother, and don't see the point.
I would disable offline files entirely, as well as disabling offline file
caching on the home folder share(s).
