Offline files generates TMP files??

Hi,

I'm running Vista RC2 and have redirected my "Documents" "Pictures" and
Favorites" to locations on my network home drive and then made them available
offline.

Now I notice that every time I boot up that there are heaps of tmp files in
all the locations that are available offline. Has anyone else noticed this
behaviour? Is this a Vista bug?

Cheers,
Jeremy.

Some more info on this. When a sync happens some errors are generated. When
I investigate the errors it is a pretty generic "Access Denied" on some files.

If you watch the folder while the error happens you can see that the
GUID.tmp file that is generated is the same size as the file that is
generating the access denied error.

Permissions are all Full Control on the share and NTFS for my user and I
have confirmed there are no open handles or READ ONLY attribute on the server
copy of the file.

The file server is running Windows Server 2003 SP1.
