Officescan Infrastructure Design

Hi

At work we thought to re-build the existing infrastructure of the current
Officescan 7.3 (migrate to version 8 in a couple of months) but we don't no
what is the best way to begin.

The actual scenario is:
1. North Headquarter (line 2MB) - deploy to their clients
North 1.1 (line 256kb) - deploy to their clients
North 1.2 (line 256kb) - deploy to their clients
North 1.n (line 256kb) - deploy to their clients
2. South Headquarter (line 2MB) - deploy to their clients
South 2.1 (line 256kb) - deploy to their clients
South 2.2 (line 256kb) - deploy to their clients
South 2.n (line 256kb) - deploy to their clients
3. East Headquarter (line 2MB) - deploy to their clients
East 3.1 (line 256kb) - deploy to their clients
East 3.2 (line 256kb) - deploy to their clients
East 3.n (line 256kb) - deploy to their clients
4. West Headquarter (line 2MB) - deploy to their clients
West 4.1 (line 256kb) - deploy to their clients
West 4.2 (line 256kb) - deploy to their clients
West 4.n (line 256kb) - deploy to their clients
5. Master Headquarters -- (line 4MB) --> all connections goes to the
Internet through here (deploy to their clients to)

Each of this location has a routing that will redirect the traffic to the
Master Headquarters and them it goes out to the internet.

Questions/doubts:
A) Should we restrict the install an OfficeScan console at each Headquarter
and then deploy to their sub-locations?

B) Or should the OfficeScan console be installed only at the Master
Headquarter and then deploy to their sub-Headquarter(North, South, East and
West) and sub-locations?

Thanks
Ricky

Probably a better question for Trend than Microsoft newsgroups.

You're right but since I don't know what are their newsgroups I expected
having some help through here

Why did you think it was appropriate to ask a question about TrendMicro
software in newsgroups for Microsoft software? (And seven of them, at that.)

It looks very primising. Thanks a lot for the advice/time you spend helping
me. I hope everyone could be like you and loss a little of their time
helping newbies like me than criticize them.

Once again Thanks
Ricky

Next time I have a question about Photoshop I think I'll ask in a
Hewlett Packard newsgroup. After all, Hewlett Packard makes computers,
and Photoshop runs on a computer...
