The software that comes "bundled" on a new PC is whatever the seller of the PC
chooses to include. Many PC vendors will include software to sweeten the
package, but there is nothing unusual about Office _not_ being included.
It's a fairly expensive piece of software so I would imagine that those trying
to compete at the lower end of the price spectrum would not include it. Even my
last new Dell only came with Works, not Office.
Yeah, and why isn't AutoCadd, ArcView, Oracle and such preinstalled!!!!
