office xp outlook creating email can't access contacts address

I had to create a new mail profile because my old profile got corrupted. When
I open outlook, I get my mail accounts, contacts, calendar etc. But when I
try to create a new email message and click the "To" in the email address, it
cannot access the contacts or the email addresses I have in my contacts

Aloha Bill315,

Right-click your Contacts folder, go to Properties, Outlook Address Book
and check the box for "Show as Outlook Address Book."
