office xp labels

In making address labels I increase or decrease the text
size by going to FORMAT and in the drop down box the
first item is FONT and from there I make my changes.
now, FONT is not there. I tried all the other toolbars
with no luck. Help Thanks

Do you have Font on the shortcut menu if you right- click? You can use that
for the time being. If Font is really missing from your Format menu (and not
just hiding because you have Adaptive Menus enabled), you can restore it by
opening Tools | Customize, selecting the Commands tab, finding the Font
command in the Format category, and dragging it back to the menu.

Thanks Suzanne: Font is now back in place. But, I
find that a Times New Roman button with the drop downs
arrow is now next to the Insert button in addition to the
formatting toolbar.How can I delete that? Thanks

My guess is that the Font control got moved from the Formatting toolbar to
the menu bar by mistake. You can remove it through Tools | Customize or by
pressing Alt and dragging it off the menu bar.
